VISION

Where ever we go to revitalize the community of believers that have the same heart and souls as the Early Church of the First Century. We are dedicated to provide an atmosphere where passion for Jesus (Y'shua), love for one another, compassion for the poor and lost, freedom in the spirit, growth in character, knowledge in the scripture and a sense of adventure in spreading the gospel can flourish. We want to see the best and fullest expression possible of God’s design for the church. Acts 2:42-47 described a group of people living the apostles’ teaching, fervent in prayer, filled with awe, praising God, doing things together, seeing miracles and many receiving salvation.

Meetings, outreaches, and events are filled with the Holy Spirit so that people may experience God's manifested presence in their life. We have countless testimonies to God's amazing power, miracles, and healing in our meetings and outreaches.

As an apostolic and prophetic ministry, we believe in working alongside pastors, teachers, and evangelists. We are best completed when the five-fold ministry is working together in unity.  We have close personal ministry friends such as pastors, teachers, apostles, prophets, and evangelists and work with various leaders in ministry for the building of the kingdom of God.

God loves the poor and calls us to minister to them. Widows, orphans, and foreigners are not to be forgotten. Giving and sharing not only the gospel, but also needed resources reveals God's love in action. We are involved in giving aid to people on a number of levels.

Personal Prayer is part of a believer's life and can be a ministry for others. City-wide and Regional prayer initiatives as a force for revival. Revival should start in the individual and the church to reach the lost in the marketplace, transforming the way we do business, government, and education. We are involved in National Day of Prayer and Global Day of Prayer as well as other prayer events and requests.

God is the focus of our praise and our worship- not performance. Praise and Worship is a lifestyle. It is Biblical to experience the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit in worship. Reading of the Scripture, prayer, and prophecy is integrated into our worship expression. Celebration, thanksgiving, and creative expressions are all utilized. Freedom in the Spirit, passion and zeal and enthusiasm for God are all encouraged. Musical Instruments, Singing, Drama, Dance, Art, Banners, Flags... are visual arts that teach and express the revelation of God and are valid forms of ministering to God and believers. The Spirit of God is in charge of our worship service and we follow Him where He leads. We host the Joy Worship Conference and bring this vision to other events.

Evangelism and discipleship is God’s prime directive for His church. Believers should go to ripe harvest fields and share the gospel to the lost. Unreached people group are targeted to be reached with God’s love. Local and global evangelism efforts are on going. We also work within the 10/40 window.

We believe we should remain relevant to all ages and cultures while not compromising ourselves or our beliefs. Believers should seek Biblical answers to current issues and not turn a blind eye to what is going on around them. To stand up for what is right while not alienating others from the love of Christ. As Believers in Jesus, we are people who can demonstrate His love and salvation power. We host "Issues & Answers" on BlogTalkRadio for these reasons. Currently, we are also working on a Right to Life project.

To perform the honorable duties of a minister such as baptism, marriage, dedications, and funerals. Furthermore, deliverance, healing and miracles as the Lord works. To observe, study, and prepare ourselves by tending to our relationship with God in His times and seasons. We teach and celebrate Shabbat, Pesach, Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Hanukkah, and the Resurrection of our Lord according to the Scriptures. [Not all times and seasons were listed. We moved away from celebrating events with unscriptural or pagan roots.] To write, speak, and educate. These are things that we do.

  DIRECTION

The guidance of the Lord in every step of ministry be it a project or taking a break. He knows best and we do our best to follow His lead. We may not always understand, but we know that His ways are higher than our own ways.

Worship Services: We believe praise and worship is an intimate expression of one’s love and adoration to God. We encourage individuals to express their heart to God through the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit and through talents such as the creative arts (in all modesty and purity). We believe all things are to be done in God’s orderly manner. If someone feels like being quiet and not raising his or her hands, it is acceptable, just as if someone wants to laugh, clap, or dance. As long as expressions of worship and spiritual giftings edify and not distract, we feel each person should worship as they are led. Our aim in the praise and worship is simple- to be ourselves in the presence of God.

At most of the meetings, we worship after the speaker. The reason for this is so that the word, which was planted in us, can begin to be worked out in us by going to the Lord right then and communicating with Him in the praise and worship. It also allows us to extend ourselves in worship. If the meeting continues past the time an individual expected to leave the service, they are free to go whenever they want.

We preach freedom from sin. We believe in protecting one another from false teachings. We believe approval of actions and acceptance of each person are two different things. Love and truth in action must be a daily reality in our lives.

If a person is under a leader that they do not cannot follow, then they shouldn't. If it is a matter or "will not" because of rebellion or jealousy in their heart, they should repent or leave. If a leader is an abuser, tyrant, dictator, manipulator and the like, people should warn as the Apostle Paul did of such wolves. What we just described requires truthfulness, witness, real discernment, and wisdom. We just do not agree with anyone pretending to follow someone when in reality they are not following. We also do not agree with overbearing and controlling leaders who for the sake of their own glory require no accountability.

We prefer quality over quantity. We seek to know and work with a quantity of quality people. It makes more sense to us to reach as many people as possible.

Ministry Overview Slideshow

Joy Worship Conference and various meetings and events. These pictures included places such as New Orleans, Israel, Spain, Romania, Nicaragua, and other nations. These pictures should give a general overview from outreach, dramatization of the Gospel message, working on projects and giving aid to those in need, creative arts in worship, speaking, prophesying, teaching, and personal ministry with the laying on of hands.
STANDARDS

Excellence in the work of the ministry.

We believe that men and women may serve in ministry without gender profiling for certain ministry jobs.

We desire each Believer in Jesus to grow to their destined and full potential in God as they were created and as God has designed them to be. Also, we do not look to the accumulation of people to spell success, rather the quality of our love comes first  at home, at work, in relationships, and at church.

Apostolic to us is not a hierarchy or spiritual status symbol; rather it is a description of tasks one must perform. An apostle, for example, sees the "blueprint" for the church and seeks to help the church get on track with the word of God. The apostle preaches the gospel and helps people grow in the Lord.

The prophetic ministry encourages and exhorts believers according to the word of God. Seers within the Holy Spirit are to be truthful and on target. Prophesy from the Lord is accurate and comes to pass. The minister who serves in the office of the prophet has certain tasks to complete in the body of believers. Prophets should not speak presumptuously nor lie about what they see or hear. Any sort of force or manipulation used alongside a prophetic ministry is not of the Lord. God respects free-will. Prophets only repeat at the right time what they see and hear from the Lord. If discernment is lacking, the prophet will be also.

The Bible is the inspired written word of God to live by. Jewish roots of Christianity are to be learned and incorporated into our understanding of the Bible. Inductive Bible Study is a priority and we encourage all believers to read the entire Bible and to read the Bible on a regular basis and search out root words. We do not interpret the Bible according to personal opinion or preferences. We encourage all believers to measure and discern life experiences according to Biblical standards. We study the Bible with an emphasis on the original Hebrew (and Hebrew to Greek texts) and live by primary principles and core beliefs.

We are not to be so busy in ministry or any other thing that we suffer our relationship with God and family.

We are careful not to promote too soon or too late. We believe in a true mentoring process. Examination of new ministries and organizations is important. We desire to be connected with like heart and like minded people.

Having a "covering" as the term is loosely used in Christian circles as meaning going to a church with a pastor is not enough. We believe in true accountability to God, our families, our spouses, and our community of believers. This is why we teach about confessing sin and seeking repentance with those that are involved.

PURPOSE OF EVENTS

Release the prophetic unction of the Holy Spirit with all purity, humility, truth, and diligence so that we may all function according to God's plan. Experience a deeper understanding of an aspect, principle, or characteristic of God thereby developing our relationship with Him. Welcome the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit to thrive, especially in the prophetic and miraculous healings. Explore creative ways to express our love and adoration to God through extended times of freedom in worship. Be an "end-time" worship expression longing for the Messiah (Jesus) return and preparing the "Bride" for her King. To worship in spirit and truth transcends denominational boundaries. Network with people of like vision and heart by revealing the common ground in worship among different  racial, ethnic, economic, and denominational backgrounds. Anointing and excellence being the goal for service, we are to refine our creative arts skills, share unlimited creativity, and life changing insights through educational workshops.  Spread the Good News, by teaching others how to lead people to Christ creatively.  The arts are a culturally relevant tool in which to spread the Gospel message. Reclaiming those things that were stolen from us by the enemy of our souls, like joy, hope, peace, love, the word of truth... and learning to guard our Godly treasure so it will not be stolen again. Redeeming the arts and culture without compromise or syncretism. To make known that God is the one who bestows creativity on mankind.
