To say that we had an amazing and wonderful time at our first Joy Conference would be an understatement. We left refreshed, inspired and deeply changed by the whole experience. All the leaders involved reflected purity, humility and profound maturity in their leadership and care for the Body of Christ. Our church has been introduced to this kind of worship and accepts it, but nothing like when everyone gets together at the joy conference!!!! Before I got introduced to this kind of worship, I kept seeing a vision of myself dancing like Miriam with a tambourine, like when the children of Israel at the Red Sea after God destroyed the enemy. Then our pastors daughter invited us to a church where they were worshiping in dance and it clicked!!! Every since then I yearn to worship Him in dance. Kim

WOW! What a great conference. This was the first year my husband and I attended, and hopefully not our last. God was/is so awesome. We are still in awe of Him. I attending the conference this year and it was wonderful. I got a healing. I went up for healing/joy and Wendy touched me between my shoulder and left chest, not knowing I had cancer in my left breast treated with chemo and radiation. I had a lot of pain in my left shoulder and collar bone most of the time. It took me two weeks after I got home, working 6 days/wk to realize the pain was gone! J. Ferguson

I have looked on many web pages for praise dance apparel, and instruments and have never come across one that was, so informative as JoyShoppe.com -  It has a lot of quality and shows maturity, and great integrity.  I looked at the photos of the Joy Conference and tears began to fill my eyes, because I could see and feel the anointing that was present as the people praised and worshiped the Lord.  I look forward to attending this year, so that I can bring some of that anointing back to our dance team.  Hopefully everyone will get a chance to experience it for themselves. I just wanted to let you know that while I was checking the Joy Conference web site today to see if there had been any changes while we were gone I read the statement you put on the main web page that was talking about being "holy" and consecrated" and the reason for the dress code in the conference.  I want to tell you that that statement blessed me greatly.  It is so important for people to be able to worship and not be distracted or tripped up by their emotions or flesh!  Praise God!  I know that He will do a wonderful thing through your ministry at the joy conference this year!  I pray that you will stand firm in your faith and that God will bless you greatly as you stand strong on the words He has given you! I am interested in learning all I can learn concerning worship and the arts. I am what I consider an older individual 53 years old, and I am overweight, but I am working with young girls who desire to worship God in dance and drama.
